When you get married, you kinda have to give up on the pretty, pink, girlie decor and start hubby-approved negotiations for all the new purchases. I've walked past so many ruffled, white couches and leopard print rugs that I whispered secret promises to, I'd get you, but I'm not single. 

I don't know how I pulled this one off.

Our new bedding looks like it was ripped right out of a magazine.   After we decided to buy it at the store, I watched another couple walk past the display. 

She pauses and pets the comforter, This is sooo pretty.

My husband actually likes it. I carried it out of that store without a single argument ... except from Carter, who was dying to push his stroller.

My next attempt is super Pinterest inspired - I want a chandelier hanging above that bed!
