Carter Wishes you a Merry Christmas

We're getting into more of a routine with Carter now, thanks to my mom's visit last week. He's starting to develop a solid sleep at night. By solid, I mean about 4 or 5 hours, starting around midnight. I miss him when he sleeps a long time ... it feels like Christmas to me when he wakes up from a nap.
He's working hard on his tummy time every day. We got him a Jolly Jumper (look it up on YouTube, it's awesome!) for Christmas, and he's not supposed to use it until he's three months old. So, on the day he turns three months, we're going to be ready with lots of head strength!
He doesn't care much about toys, rattles or even his play mat yet. His only two priorities are taking baths and staring at people's faces. He splashes his arms and legs around in his tub with a super serious look on his face. I think he must have been a frog once.
Yesterday I was whispering something to him, and he let out the loudest, most appreciative laugh I've ever heard. My mouth dropped, and I just stared at him. I can't even remember what I said, but I haven't been able to get another response like that.
I got an iPhone and took it upon myself to start a second job ... taking tons of pictures and videos of him all day.
Christmas is about four days away, I'm so excited to be sharing it with our son. We have a huge blanket of snow on the ground and spend all our time snuggling. I can't believe what a sweetheart he is. I'll have another YouTube video update up for you soon!
I hope you all have a great holiday season with your families! Stay warm! ♥

Smile Update

In Carter's latest smiles he includes either a bunch of bubbles or - if he really likes what you're doing - his little tongue.
