best wedding. ever.

I've put off doing a post about this wedding. And still, I'm sitting here trying to think of words. All throughout the evening (specifically, the moment I saw my new sister-in-law's dress) I felt frustrated because I knew the perfection I was witnessing would be impossible to describe to anyone who wasn't sitting there with me. It was kind of a sad feeling.

I want to say that my brother-in-law's wedding was like a scene straight out of a movie or a page of a magazine. But really, it was a hundred times better.

We arrived early at the Chateau de Breteuil (it's Google-able). Here's my little dress.

Appetizers. There was dry ice on the bottom, which had them spouting hazy billows.

Singers. They also walked around the table, serenading us while we ate.

This reminded me of Meet Joe Black (one of my favorite movies). I kept peeking over to see if I'd catch an old man walking off by himself.

View of the dance floor from my seat. Not pictured: the bride & groom dancing to Kissing You, sung by an opera singer and fireworks. I'm not good with night photos, but I do have video footage.

After the reception, we went inside for more dancing, desserts, champagne, coffee and breakfast foods.

  11. @Lindsay Hodge they met in the US at a club in NYC. she was living in miami at the time, so after some long distance talking, she moved to Pennsylvania to live with Geoff, he proposed about a year or so later. They both love traveling & are really cute together. Her father is really successful & was able to put together this amazing wedding for them. It was the prettiest event you could ever dream of.
