cart & art

These little wooden car painting kits come in packs of 2 at Target for $2.00 in the party favors section. We love them.

Obviously.

One of Carter's ancestors is the famous painter, Thomas Eakins. But seeing his painting face, you already knew that.

  1. I can't wait until my little guy is big enough to do little activities like this. It looks like so much fun.
And I love how you've decided to paint without a shirt on, so much safer when there is messy stuff around. :)

  3. Carter is so focused with his painting...a natural artist for sure! I like how you use waxed paper under the craft. I normally use news paper, but I'll be switching to waxed paper now that you gave me that idea! It looks like it stays put and is cleaner.

  4. Love that he's so creative! You mentioned in your latest vlog that he is really into role-playing. Encourage his imagination, it's awesome that he has that creativity, it will serve him well as an adult :)

  5. That is great! I wish I could do this with Adam. I got finger paint and have tried that a few times; however, he spends more time eating the paint than anything else. :(
